I have the same problem. We came back from a week away and it seems that the system worked for 3-4 days and then stopped drawing water from the water butt. The pump can draw water ok if connected to a very short tube (20cm) but cannot draw from a longer tube (2m). Any ideas for a solution??

Same issue here. Have spoken to Irrigate and raised ticket. Will share any responses.

Received a response to a ticket that I raised. This solved the problem.

”I hear you that the pump is clear, but try the pump cleaning process - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQWB46xqDdQ. Note that you need a PH1 screwdriver and that there is a spare valve (little rubber sheet with cut-outs) inside the controller, which can be changed if needs be while the pump is open.”

I am experiencing the same "low current" problem with a SOL-C24 L purchased November 2021. I have tried the pump cleaning process described above as well as recharging the batteries but the problem prevails.

Hi Michael, suggest you raise a ticket on their support system if not already done so. Response was very good with a couple of suggestions, of which the cleaning process sorted it for me.

Also having the same problem on one year old system which was brilliant last year, plus the new one I just bought!.  Error code 80 apparently means the pump is not using as much power as it should.  So how do you make the pump use more power then?  Anyone get a satisfactory answer ?

Edit: Irrigatia phoned me and said it was most likely the batteries so they are sending me some new ones.  I asked if it was worth trying to charge them externally, but the chap said probably not, because if they were capable of holding a charge the panel would've charged them up.  It is apparently advisable to take batteries out when you stop using the system.

After I tried all the recommended troubleshooting, Irrigatia sent me a replacement pump, which was easy to swap in.  Do not hesitate to contact them for support if you are having this issue.  They are very responsive.

Re-posting after all this time because I just discovered that flashing 80 code also occurred when I had a fairly long inlet tube and there was air trapped in the tube.  The water level had gotten low and it was a while before I refilled the water butt.  I submerged the entire tube in water so that the air was driven out, then carefully re-attached to the pump without letting the water run out of the tube.  Everything worked great after that.
