Irrigatia C24 L Error code 80
My pump, as I by chance passed by just as it was starting to pump water made a weird sound and I saw no water coming out of the small openings. I looked at the display, and it said "80", in the paper stating "low current".
After reading up on the webpage I bought the pump from, they had a list of error codes and what to do and asking chatGPT and reading this community, I concluded also by looking at the water, that it had some kind of growth in it and that it had probably blocked either the hose or the water pump inside. I used the syringe to make certain that the hose was clear and then I opened up the pump, pulled out the connection to the electric board and opened up the plastic bit with the screws and cleaned it out with the syringe and sure enough, there was this algae or biological growth that had blocked the pump.
Tomorrow I will restart the pump since it is late in the evening and I don't want to start the pump's 2-3 hour draining just as the sun is setting, but hopefully the pump will work tomorrow and that cleaning the pump did the trick!!!!

Yes, the pump worked when started and due to the battery having been "drained" previous day trying to pump water against resistance, i.e. a clogged hose and pump, the batteries didn't need the usual 2-3 hours of starting up. Will go back out in 2 1/1 hours to see if it starts up watering the plants and that the hose out to the plants aren't clogged as well.

As posted on another thread, I just discovered that flashing 80 code also occurred when I had a fairly long inlet tube and there was air trapped in the tube. The water level had gotten low and it was a while before I refilled the water butt. I submerged the entire tube in water so that the air was driven out, then carefully re-attached to the pump without letting the water run out of the tube. Everything worked great after that.
