Pump running continuously
Our new system - SOL-C24 - has been running for about a week. Yesterday it was expanded to 22 drippers incorporating some sections of seephouse. This morning I altered the setting from 3 to 4 to see if this was going to provide sufficient watering as 3 seemed to not provide quite enough.
It watered fine on 3 but, this afternoon, on 4 it was running continuously or at least 45 minutes before I switched it off. I turned it back on after about an hour and a half, it started to running immediately so, as things are water logged, I switched it off again.
I checked the waterbutt to find it was used more in one cycle than it had in the whole of the time we have been running it.
What should I do next? Thank you.

I have the same problem. Incease from 3 to 5 made it run for an hour before I had to switch it off. Please respond promptly because it's dry here now. What can we do?

Hi! There was never anything wrong with my system. The setting 5 means that charging is constant. The pump starts every 3 hours (if not running already) and runs until the battery is empty. On a sunny day, that may never happen on the 5 setting. I guess that 3 means charging is 60% of the time.. If it's too wet then, decrease to 2 which should be charging around 40% of the time. This backwards way of thinking is really tricky. I hope my explanation helped. Cheers!

Hihi. I just replaced my C24 pump SPV2 to SPV4. However, I switched to setting #1 , the pump never stopped even after 15mins. Any solution?
